Kind of hard to see with the picture resized, but Lucy and Jessie are having sprouted beans for dinner the next couple of nights! I gave them a little treat tonight and they ate it all up!
I know you can buy a certain container for sprouting, but I simply soak the beans in water for approximately 12 hours then I lay them out on a cookie sheet for approximately 36 hours. I keep them moist by misting with water a couple times and keep them covered with moist towels/cloths. Seems to work well.
I use a similar method. I put a layer of paper towel down on a platter, add a couple of inches of sprouts, and put a layer of paper towel overtop. Laura they look great! Good for you!
That's a whole lot of beans...what did you use as a sprouter?
